I’m a season-ticket holder at BCFC and I’m on the Kop. I’ve supported City since the mid-80s - when McCall and Hendrie were Gods. The best goal I’ve ever seen at City was Leigh Palin vs Everton in the League Cup, 1988 (Palin-Banks-Kennedy-Palin from six-yard box to six-yard box… beautiful).

Last season [07-08] was entertaining, but of mixed quality. The Accy Stanley game didn’t eactly inspire confidence, but going every week certainly paid off in the end – when I saw the games against Shrewsbury and Rotherham that £138 ticket suddenly seemed a bargain.

Looking forward to 08-09.

  1. Old Bradford City programs
When I was a lad I collected english soccer programmes. Now during the Christmas cleaning I found about 100 old Bradford City programmes. Most of them are from 1968 – 1969 including a home game against bradford Park Avenue.
I was going to throw them away but maybe you could find someone who wants them. I´m not selling but 5 pounds would cover the postage.

PS They are in mint condition but some of them are from the same game
