The T&A are reporting that McCall remains as City boss for next season and that Nix wants in. Despite the budget dilemma, things are starting to look up. We need men as committed as McCall and Nix at this club. (We also need players and staff who won’t demand high wages!) If Nix is cheap I say keep him. More seriously: despite his lack of pace and strength, Nix tackles well above his weight, has good technique, works hard, and scores goals. (Last season he got six goals in thirty-one league starts.) While the likes of Boulding, Lee, Brandon, and McLaren may move on – as might several of the out-of-contract players – I for one hope Nix stays.
